Who trains here

A room built for work, not for a party

The venue sits in the city centre but away from the street, so it is quiet inside. That is the first thing every trainer asks about.

๐ŸŽ“

Trainers and training companies

Open and in house courses, single day or in a series. We leave the room in the same layout for the next day.

๐Ÿข

HR teams

Onboarding, product training and strategy sessions away from the office, where nobody is looking over your shoulder.

๐Ÿงฉ

Group workshops

Several teams working at once. We arrange the tables into islands so each group gets its own corner and space for materials.

๐Ÿ“š

Courses and regular classes

Vocational, language and preparatory courses at a fixed time. For longer bookings we agree the schedule up front.

๐Ÿค

Coaching and mentoring

Small group or one to one sessions, with the whole room and the terrace available for a conversation on the side.

๐Ÿ“

Exams and assessments

Assessment days, tests and recruitment sessions, where quiet, spacing between desks and an address people can find all matter.

Room layout

Four layouts, one floor

You choose the layout when you book and we set the room up before you arrive. Changing it during the day is possible too, just tell us in advance.

๐Ÿช‘

Classroom

Rows of tables facing the trainer. Everyone gets a surface for a laptop, notes and handouts. The default layout for a full day course.

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿคโ€๐Ÿง‘

Workshop islands

Separate tables for teams working in parallel, with aisles between them, so the trainer can move around and sit down with each group.

๐ŸŽค

U shape

Tables in a U, everyone facing the middle. It works for discussion, role play and soft skills training, where people need to see each other.

๐Ÿ“Š

Theatre

Chairs in rows, no tables. It fits the most people and suits a talk or an opening lecture before the group work starts.

A training day

How a day at BRDA 144 runs

The outline we usually agree with the trainer. The timings are an example and we adjust them to your programme.

โฐ

Before the start

The room opens early so the trainer can lay out materials and test the setup without rushing. Coffee is ready for the first person through the door.

๐Ÿ“–

Morning block

Air conditioning and windows facing the courtyard keep the room quiet and cool even in July. The sound system saves the trainer's voice with a larger group.

โ˜•

Break and lunch

A coffee break from our kitchen, and in good weather the group moves out to the terrace over the Brda. Lunch is ordered together with the room, so nobody hunts for a restaurant nearby.

๐Ÿ”

Afternoon block

If the second half runs in a different layout, we rearrange the room during the break. The trainer does not move tables.

๐ŸŒ™

After the session

On a multi day course the room stays in the same layout with materials in place. The next morning you walk into a room that is ready.

How it works

From enquiry to training day in four steps

No pointless viewings and no filling in the same form several times.

  1. We check the date

You call or write with the date and the size of the group. We usually reply the same day.

  2. We agree layout and breaks

We pick the room layout, the hours and what goes on the break table. That is the basis for your quote.

  3. We book the date

We sign the agreement and block the date in the calendar. Companies get an invoice and a single point of contact.

  4. We set the room up

Tables, chairs and coffee are in place before the first participant arrives. The trainer walks in and starts.

FAQ

Questions about the training room

Answers to what trainers ask before they even call.

How many people fit in a training session?

We seat 69 people at tables and up to 100 theatre style, on chairs alone. For workshop islands a comfortable group is 30 to 40 people, because each team gets its own table and room for materials.

Can the room be rented for a few hours?

Yes. We rent the room for a single block, a full working day or several days in a row. Hours are agreed when you book, early mornings and evenings included.

Is there a projector and a screen?

The sound system and fast WiFi are on site, ready for a presentation or an online stream. Trainers usually bring their own projector and screen. If you would rather have a set waiting for you, mention it in your enquiry and we will sort it out along with the date.

Who takes care of coffee and lunch?

We do. Coffee breaks come from our own kitchen and lunch is ordered together with the room. You are also welcome to bring your own caterer, the kitchen is available to whichever company you choose.

Is the room available on weekdays?

Yes, weekdays are our main working mode. Weekends are often taken by private events, so for a Saturday course it is worth asking well in advance.

Can everyone see the trainer?

There is a single support column roughly in the middle of the room. We arrange the chairs and tables so that it blocks nobody, and with larger groups we move the trainer's position closer to the windows.
